Our marketing team plays a crucial role in all aspects of our business, including product design, sales enablement, audience building, lead generation, and customer retention. We do this largely through content creation and distribution!

Job Description:

To help us scale our reach, we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for distributing and scheduling social media posts, as well as contributing to our overall content strategy. You will be working part-time (hours can be flexible) and must be able to be in the office one day per week (Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and publish social media posts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and curate content (LinkedIn carousel posts, YouTube shorts, etc.)
  • Analyze social media performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a social media or marketing role.
  • Previous writing or copywriting experience.
  • Basic graphic design knowledge.
